A week in links (Boxing Edition)

Of all the shounen style series to appear on the airwaves, there isn't one quite like Hajime no Ippo. My friend Shyang introduced it to me way back in 2001, and since then it has remained one of my top favorite shows of all time. Probably best of all time too. It's got everything in it: character development, humour, drama...all the necessary ingredients of hot-blooded shounen titles such as Naruto and Bleach.

The one thing it doesn't have, are all those mindless and unnecessary filler episodes. No long-winded flashbacks either! This is why Ippo is the true champion of shounen titles!
